The Gennett Suite

A century after the glory days of Richmond’s Gennett Records, Brent Wallarab completed a new jazz composition based on the Gennett recordings of the 1920’s, entitled The Gennett Suite.

Recorded in 2022 by the Buselli-Wallarab Jazz Orchestra, the Gennett Suite has been released by Patois Records on CD and vinyl. Copies available at the link.

Named the “best jazz album” of the quarter by the Association of German Record Critics and included in Downbeat Magazine and The Times (UK) best jazz albums of 2023, the Gennett Suite is gaining recognition worldwide.
